From May 2023 to July 2023, the Taksaz Organization (KAO) successfully implemented a series of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and hygiene training sessions for teachers at 15 private schools. A total of 150 girls and women participated in the “Hygiene for Women” training program, which
focused on essential personal and menstrual hygiene practices. This initiative aimed to empower women’s health and well-being within the education establishments, and enable them to cascade their knowledge to the female students and communities. Participants gained valuable knowledge and skills that they can share with others, promoting improved hygiene practices and fostering a healthier environment for all.
