Kahkashan Afghan organization was established in 2008 under license number (3171) of the Ministry of Economy by a group of visionary young professionals with the aim to develop an Educated and aware society free of poverty and illiteracy as the foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable future, leaving no one behind.
Our mission is to provide education and social development services (including women empowerment, economic wellbeing, children, youths’ rights and peace) for underserved and most marginalized, fragile and conflict-affected communities through partnership, global humanitarian assistance and humanitarian-development nexus.
Our core team is a group of young and professional cadre who worked with the ministries’ leadership and several national and international development organizations and entities in policies and strategies development, implementation of several multi-million development projects and change management.

Kahkashan Afghan Organization aims to utilize the local and international wisdom and resources to improve and innovate the quality of life for marginalized populations through the following areas:
Utilizing academic expertise for education services and education researches, assessments and trainings to inform policy makers for enriched and information
Social services include peace awareness, social rights awareness, trainings, capacity building, development and equity and equality.
Promoting SDG’s, peace and tolerance through education, science, culture and mass communication.
Capacity building of civil servants in policy development, M&E, organization capacity and gap analysis.
