The Kahkashan Afghan organization successfully implemented the Complementary Education Course (CEC) project from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 in Herat Province, covering the districts of Injil, Guzara, Karukh, and Kushk Rabat Sangi, with financial support from JRS International and a total budget of USD 135,515.
The project aimed to improve access to education and strengthen learning opportunities for children and youth through complementary and capacity-building programs. During the implementation period, the organization established 24 English language classes for 600 beneficiaries, 6 computer training classes for 90 beneficiaries, and 22 science support and university entrance preparation classes for 660 students. In addition, 48 life skills and conflict resolution classes were conducted for 1,600 beneficiaries.
Through successful implementation of this project, the organization contributed significantly to enhancing educational access, academic performance, practical skills, and peaceful conflict resolution capacities among communities in Herat Province.
