The organization successfully implemented the Literacy and Tailoring Skills Development Project from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 in Kabul, District 5 (Qala-e-Wazir), with financial support from Sawa and a total budget of USD 41,125.
The project aimed to improve access to education and vocational skills for vulnerable women and girls aged above 14 years through literacy education and income-generating training. During the implementation period, the organization established 4 literacy courses for 130 female learners, and 4 tailoring (sewing) training courses for 190 disadvantaged female trainees.
Through successful implementation of this project, the organization contributed to improving literacy levels, strengthening vocational skills, and enhancing economic opportunities for vulnerable women in District 5 of Kabul City.
